I envy your experience with drawing anatomy. I really should push myself to practice more than just inane little doodles. You both inspire me and make me feel lazier than I am. Haha.
You are too kind! Don’t feel lazy, I am one of the laziest people on the planet, seriously. For some reason figure drawing relaxes me, so that’s why I’ve been practicing a lot this past week. ^^” I really enjoy your doodles! And if you want more experience with anatomy, I say just go for it! I mostly use the Figure Drawing Training Tool, which has really great reference photos. There’s also Posemaniacs for quick gestures and muscle practice. I actually have this terrible habit of drawing too much from real life and not using my imagination enough! So I should really practice that instead of only sketching figures. - -“
Thank you so much! Your art is so super cute ah, I really need to try that 30 Day Challenge thing!
Ahh!!! This is too kind of you!! No problem, I love your art and everything you post! I can’t wait to see more. :D And yesyesyes, totally go for it! I’ve been super lazy with the challenge, but it’s a good exercise! ^^
30 Day Drawing Challenge Day Twenty-Two: Something You Miss
So I’m going to embarrass myself and post some of my old piano playing, ha ha. It’s the first movement of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 5, Op. 10 No. 1.
I miss music! I used to be pretty hardcore about piano, but then I went to college and haven’t had time, I guess. Excitingly enough, the hospice I volunteer at has a piano (an adorable upright) and I played around on it today. Surprisingly enough, people liked it! I had forgotten how much people enjoy live music, even if it’s just me sightreading songs from Broadway, lol. Music - art in general, I guess! - can really touch people. So now I’m going to go there to play for an hour or so, once or twice a week, and it just makes me so happy.
And please, instead of suffering through my playing, listen to these instead.
