30 Day Drawing Challenge Day Thirty: A Congrats Banner for Finishing the Challenge
Ohmygosh. It’s over. It’s the end of June! That’s pretty crazy. I could’ve done a lot better, but I think this was a good way to motivate me to sketch more. I’ll miss you, 30 Day Drawing Challenge!!
(Also, I finally have a reason to use this gif, I love it so much, ha ha.)

30 Day Drawing Challenge Day Twenty-Eight: Anything You’d Like
Tired. ;_; I’ve been falling asleep in places I shouldn’t be, which is really terrible. I got home today, trudged up to my room, and ended up falling asleep at the top of the stairs. Like. On the floor. Just laid there. ;_;
30 Day Drawing Challenge Day Twenty-Seven: Someone You Love
You. Hello there. I love you. You’re great. I thank God for you every day, that we’re here right now, experiencing life on this pale blue dot. That’s pretty beautiful. And even though we seem so insignificant sometimes, the world would be different without you. I think we often forget this, so here’s a reminder: I love you. A lot of people love you. :)

30 Day Drawing Challenge Day Twenty-Three: Something You Need
I need to sketch and practice more. We watched Amélie today and I got to sketch a little. It’s pretty much all profile because I’m trying to model her in Maya as well, so these are some studies.
(Apologies for the awful photo, it’s late, I’m tired, and I can’t sleep. ;_;)
30 Day Drawing Challenge Day Twenty-Two: Something You Miss
So I’m going to embarrass myself and post some of my old piano playing, ha ha. It’s the first movement of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 5, Op. 10 No. 1.
I miss music! I used to be pretty hardcore about piano, but then I went to college and haven’t had time, I guess. Excitingly enough, the hospice I volunteer at has a piano (an adorable upright) and I played around on it today. Surprisingly enough, people liked it! I had forgotten how much people enjoy live music, even if it’s just me sightreading songs from Broadway, lol. Music - art in general, I guess! - can really touch people. So now I’m going to go there to play for an hour or so, once or twice a week, and it just makes me so happy.
And please, instead of suffering through my playing, listen to these instead.
30 Day Drawing Challenge Day Twenty-One: Something You Want
I’m actually at this point in my life where I’m really content with what I have. I feel very blessed, and I don’t really want anything material. Whatever else I want, I can work towards. So…hugs? Hugs are great. And someone really needs to invent how to give hugs over the internet, like for real. For now, just pretend I’m giving you a hug. Sure, hug your computer. I’m hugging mine right now. Feel that lovely warmth? :)
(Or actually, that’s probably my laptop overheating again. ;_;)
30 Day Drawing Challenge Day Twenty: Something Orange
So, I drew an orange. Huge stretch of the imagination there, I know. But I did it with Zen Brush on my iPad (!!!) which was really exciting. I also tried to do some calligraphy, which was shameful because my handwriting in Chinese is awful. I was going to write “orange”…but I’m better at just drawing it. ;_;
30 Day Drawing Challenge Day Fifteen: Family Picture
Really long day at work today. Cells. They’re kind of like pets.
This is my family. ♥ I sometimes wish I had siblings, and I sure hope I don’t act like an only child, but I really love my parents and I’m so grateful for everything they’ve given me. I’ve been super fortunate.
