Here’s a gigot (leg-of-mutton) sleeve I made in costume construction class. It’s huge and poofy and…huge. You have to pleat it because there’s so much fabric, ha ha.
The semester is winding down so I haven’t had much time to draw. It’s Thanksgiving break, though! I hope everyone gets some rest and some good food inside them. ♥

I’m taking a costume construction course this semester, which is basically drafting, making, and fitting patterns. It’s super fun! I just finished my seven-piece bodice and it fits well, so I very sneakily snapped some pictures in the studio because, uh, I don’t know if it’s normal to be so excited about a muslin pattern, ha ha.

30 Day Drawing Challenge
Day Thirteen:  Comic

Today was my first day volunteering at the hospice.  Pretty powerful.

I tried something new with this.  I’ve had the idea for a long time and was scared to execute it until now.  I rushed it, so I may revisit this later.  I don’t know if it gets the point across.

Check out other people who are participating!

More watercolors.  I just love these classic pieces.  And the bright socks.
